Laurin has twenty-five years of experience in interior architecture and design. As a trained architect, her work path has included projects in hospitality, commercial, retail, health care, boutique spa and high-end residential design. Laurin has worked in various architecture offices in Virginia, South Carolina and New York with projects throughout the country as well as internationally. Her expertise in project management, interior space planning, finish material detailing and focus on what makes an interior space ‘feel’ right for each client has led her to incredible opportunities in the design field.

Laurin lives on James Island with her husband, Matt, and family.

 

Past Experience

Highlighted projects during Laurin's tenure while working with various design firms include the award winning Rainbow Room, Bar 65, Top of the Rock and the historic restoration of the lobby to NBC studios and offices, all at 30 Rockefeller Center in NY, the historic NY Times Building lobby and storefront, Saks Fifth Avenue retail renovations in Boston and San Francisco, the Aria hotel retail development in Las Vegas, estate home designs in the Caribbean, NYC and Montreal, and numerous high-end new interior residential projects and renovations on Kiawah Island, SC and surrounding areas.
